I have come across this several times with clients, if you use the Google ad preview toolit will show you results without cost or skewing any analytics. it is mostly for paid ads and will not take into account your search history. You can set it by region, state or local so you will see how your ad appears and see what competitors are running also in other markets. I do recommend that you have a seperate landing pages for PPC and organic.
